Provo Adventures!!

OK so my sister convinced me to make one of these so here i go! Idk how good i will be at it but ill give it a try...


So for the past month and a half I've been living in Provo with my sister. Originally the plan was for me to come her and stay with her and find a job until i go back to school in April up at BYU-I, but it turns out that now I'm going home due to the fact that the economy is horrible and i couldn't find a job! Ive had so much fun spending time with my sister getting to know her better. We are 7 years apart and when she left for college i was still in elementary school so i never got to spend too much time with her, and at the time we were into different things. Now that I'm older we can relate to a lot of things like boys, college experiences, things we enjoy doing, etc... We have had some fun times and shes introduced me to a lot of new things! It will be sad having to leave but i will take a lot of good memories from the experience!


Here are some of the things I've tried since being in Provo :]

Lily took me snowboarding as a Christmas present! It was by far one of the best presents ever!! It was awesome and i loved it! It wasn't as difficult as i thought it would be.. i mean I'm not good but i got the hang of it and my second run i only fell 3 times when on the first i fell a bunch. I will definitely be going more and i cant wait :]

She also introduced me to Red Robin which is quite delicious!! We ate here on one of our girls nights before going to see "Hes just not that into you" a great movie from which i got some helpful information from. That night was a blast!!

Color me Mine was introduced to me a while back ago when i came down from Idaho one weekend but since I've been here we have gone twice! It just a really neat and fun place to go with a bunch of your girlfriends and paint, talk and relax! So far I've made 2 Big mugs, 2 small mugs, and a plate but I'm sure i will be going again sometime to make more :]



Recently this past weekend was my last weekend here before i go home, so on Friday Lily and I were at the mall and after walking round for couple hours we got hungry and i felt like trying something new and different. Lily suggested California Pizza Kitchen and since it was conveniently in the mall and it was different we went and ate there. It was definitely different and unlike any pizza i have ever had! I had the California Club Pizza which consisted of cheese, bacon, chicken, tomatoes, and Lettuce mixed with mayo and it was delicious!! Lily had an Indian type pizza with mango's on it i don't remember the name but it was also very tasty!


The next day we woke up and did somethings around the house and planned what we were going to do that night. We decided to go to a ward dinner then after head over to This really amazing non-alcoholic Restaurant lounge called Sparks for drinks just to try it out. The ward dinner was nice and the food was great but it was a little awkward when a whole table of people came to sit with me and my sister, who were sitting at our own table by ourselves and were perfectly fine that way, when we were about to leave. It was a nice gesture but just a little awkward! We left after dinner and headed out to Sparks! Right when we got there I immediately loved it!! It's such a nicely decorated place and the atmosphere is very fun and relaxed which i love! It would be a great place to go with some close friends and just talk and have drinks and dessert after a long day of whatever. Another thing i loved was the drink selection...they're not your normal drinks that you would see at any other restaurant! they're very fun and adventurous! Lily tried the Mango Mojito which was delicious, and i had the Shirley Temple that had a cotton candy top which was cool! We also tried some Fried Chocolate Pudding and it was Yummy :] Over all it was fun and would love to go again! We made it a goal to try every drink on the menu! Well not all but most... After that we headed to walmart to get some stuff that we needed for the next day and for some reason we were having the worst luck ever. First off they were out of one of the things we needed at walmart so we ended up going to 3 different stores looking for it and the last store it was 3 times more expensive it was insane!! Then it turns out that i ended up leaving my phone at sparks so we had to go back for it, but luckily i didn't lose it some where else..After that long night we came home and did some facials and did manicures and pedicures which was a good way to end the night :]

I had an Amazing time here in Provo Thanks to my wonderful, kind, and loving big Sister :] who i love with all of my heart!! Oh and my wonderful Parents!
